Joann Sherrer, founder of Pinnacle Research,
is an experienced human resources professional. With over 20 years
of recruitment and human resources experience,
her career spans corporate recruitment as a Director of Recruiting
for a Fortune 100 research and development corporation,
a large healthcare system, and managing an office of an executive
research and search firm.
Certified by the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM)
as a Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR), she is actively
serving as the Foundation Director on the Area II SHRM Board of
Directors.
She served as President of the Baltimore Human Resources Chapter,
Chesapeake Human Resources Association in 1995.
Joann works with a wide range of clients and has broad exposure
in terms of industries and functions in the area of identification
and candidate development. Currently, the majority of her clients
have an emphasis in biotechnology, pharmaceutical and financial
services industries.
Her education includes
teaching specialized interviewing programs and a Master's of Business
Administration from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's
of Art degree in business administration from Loyola College of
Maryland.
Personal interests include
bodybuilding, biking, sailing and being with her family and friends.

include SHRM, Employment Management Association and Executive
Research Roundtable.
